Grand Prairie, TX

Grand Prairie is the 'middle of everything' — including the shortest drive to our office.

Your car's been project-ed, delivered-app-ed, hail-fixed, or just parked too long. Whatever it's lived through, we've priced one like it this month. Locked number in ten minutes, paid by dinner.

Why Grand Prairie drivers sell

Grand Prairie stretches from near Lone Star Park over toward the airport and down to Mountain Creek Lake. We buy from all of it — the neighborhoods near Joe Pool, the corridor along the 161, and the older streets closer to Dalworth.

Grand Prairie sellers often have cars with stories — the project build that never finished, the rideshare commuter that aged out, the secondhand SUV handed down twice, the storm-damaged sedan repaired with PDR. Not everyone wants to tell those stories again to every Marketplace stranger. We ask once and we're done.

  • Project car that stalled halfway through the build
  • Delivery-app commuter with high miles and a used-up suspension
  • Hail-repaired car with PDR work
  • Second-owner pass-down that no one drives anymore
  • Repossession avoidance — you'd rather sell than lose it to the bank
  • Extra vehicle parked by the lake that never comes out

I had an LS-swap project that got shelved when my wife's car quit. Didn't know anyone who'd even value something half-finished. They did, and fairly.

My Nissan went through the spring hail, got PDR'd, and sat after the insurance check. Just wanted it gone. They took it, didn't nickel-and-dime me on the PDR history.

Drove DoorDash for three years in this car. 190k miles. Price was better than I expected.

We price what the car actually is — project, PDR'd, high-miles — not what a clean-title marketing template would guess at.

Frequently asked questions

Can I sell a car with aftermarket wheels or window tint?

+

Yes. Factory wheels usually bring the highest resale, but quality aftermarket wheels (XD, Fuel, BBS, etc.) don't hurt the offer and can even help on certain trucks. Tint needs to be Texas-legal (25% minimum on the front sides); darker-than-legal tint comes off at inspection or gets a small deduction.

Do you buy project cars or partially rebuilt vehicles?

+

Yes, and they're some of our more interesting deals. Send clear photos of where the build stopped, a list of parts completed, and any new parts still in boxes — unused parts add value if they come with the sale. We don't pay for labor hours invested, only for completed, documented value.

What about cars that have been through hail-repair auctions (PDR titled)?

+

Some PDR repairs don't brand the title at all — those sell like normal cars. If the title got branded as 'Prior Damage' or 'Hail', resale value drops 15–25% and we'll adjust accordingly. Show us the title and we'll know which applies.

Do you buy cars registered to my disabled family member with handicap plates?

+

Yes. The titled owner still has to sign (or give a notarized POA if they can't come in). Handicap plates stay with the person, not the car — you'll want to transfer them before the sale if the person is getting a replacement vehicle.

Can I sell a car that's been used for delivery apps (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart)?

+

Absolutely. DFW has a huge delivery economy and these cars are common. High mileage is priced in; what matters more is maintenance history. If you've kept service records (oil changes, tires, brakes), bring them — the offer can go up 10–20% with documented maintenance.

Do you buy cars with expired inspection stickers?

+

Yes, the sticker doesn't affect our offer. You just need a way to get the car to our office legally — either a drive-home permit from DMV or a tow if it can't pass inspection. The tow cost is deducted up-front from the final number.

What if my car has a rebuilt engine with no documentation?

+

Without documentation, a rebuilt engine doesn't add value — it's treated as the stock engine with whatever mileage is on the odometer. If you can get even a parts receipt, a shop invoice, or a photo of the work, it helps the offer.
