Arlington, TX

Living between the Cowboys and the Rangers shouldn't mean living with a car you don't want anymore.

Arlington's in the geographic middle of everything — including our office. A single afternoon covers the whole sale: drive in, sign paperwork, drive out with the check. You keep your weekend.

Why Arlington drivers sell

Arlington sits right in the middle of the Metroplex — which means our office is a short drive no matter where in the city you are. From Lincoln Square to Dalworthington Gardens, from UTA student apartments to the retiree neighborhoods off Green Oaks, we buy cars from every part of town.

Arlington has two distinct seller profiles. Students and young professionals near UTA offloading a first car before a move. And established families in North Arlington upgrading from the kid-hauler minivan to the empty-nester sedan. Different lives, same ask: a fair number and a short appointment.

  • Graduated from UTA and moving out of state
  • Kid hit 18 and took the other car to college — you don't need three anymore
  • The reliable commuter finally got too reliable and you want something newer
  • Empty nester downsizing from the SUV to a sedan
  • Storm damage from the Texas spring you never got around to fixing
  • Inherited vehicle you'd rather convert to cash than maintain

A typical Arlington sale, hour by hour

  1. Minute 0 — You reach out

WhatsApp, web form, or phone call. You send VIN + mileage + a note on condition.

  2. Minute 10 — Firm offer back

Not a range. Not 'starting at.' A specific dollar figure based on auction comps and your car's condition.

  3. Minute 30 — You accept, we send address

Our office address comes by WhatsApp and email once you say yes. Appointment confirmed.

  4. Hour 2 — You arrive, drive our way

Short drive from most of Arlington to the DFW office. Coffee waiting.

  5. Hour 2:45 — Inspection complete, paperwork signed

Title transfers, Texas DMV forms filled. You keep your plates if you want.

  6. Hour 3 — You leave, paid

Cash or same-day ACH. Whatever's left of your afternoon is yours.

Arlington neighbors who sold this quarter

I was dreading this. Thought it would take a weekend of messaging strangers. Instead it took one WhatsApp thread.

Brittany S.
Lincoln Square · nurse

My dad's old Camry had sat at the house for two years. They took it as-is, didn't make me clean it out, handled the tow.

Anthony K.
UTA grad student

Expected a lowball. Got a fair number. In and out in 40 minutes.

Small, direct operation — you won't be passed between a 'buyer,' an 'inspector,' and a 'closer.' One person, start to finish.

Frequently asked questions

Do you buy cars that still have Cowboys or Rangers season-pass decals or parking stickers on them?

+

Happens weekly in Arlington — the decals don't affect anything, and if you want them removed before we take it we do that at the shop for free. Transferable stadium passes stay with the seller (ours are not a resale marketplace), but the car sale works the same as any other.

How much does my Arlington car have to be worth for this to be worth it?

+

There's no hard floor. We've done deals on $600 junkers and $35,000 trucks in the same week. If you're unsure, send us the details — a quote is free and takes minutes.

I'm a UTA student, is there anything different about my situation?

+

Just one — if you're under 21 and not on the title, the titled owner has to sign in person or give you power of attorney. Otherwise the process is identical. A parent in another state can notarize a POA and overnight it to you.

Do I need to bring the license plates?

+

Texas plates stay with the owner, not the car, so you actually keep them. We remove them before you leave if you haven't already. You can transfer them to your next vehicle at any DMV office.

What if the car was a gift and the title's not in my name?

+

The titled owner needs to be present at signing or provide a notarized power of attorney. Bring a photo of the title when you quote and we'll walk you through whichever path fits — usually the POA route for out-of-town givers.

Can I sell a car I still need to drive tomorrow?

+

Schedule the appointment for an afternoon or evening and drive it in that morning. Once the paperwork signs you leave without the car, so plan a ride home — Uber from our office runs about $15 back into Arlington.

Do you buy convertibles that sat through a Texas summer with the top up?

+

Yes, though heat-faded tops and cracked dashboards lower the price on high-trim convertibles more than on sedans. Send a photo of the top and the dash — if you've kept the car garaged, the summer damage is usually cosmetic and doesn't hit the offer much.

What happens to my car after I sell it?

+

Depends on condition. Running cars with clean titles usually go to auction. Damaged cars go to salvage partners for parts. That's why we can pay more for clean titles — the resale path is cleaner.
